Week in Training and 14ers #27-29

Week 19 in training – 45 miles of running and hiking at altitude. Highlights include 14ers (!) + the associated fun car camping. And birthday celebrations. Low lights include getting kicked/punched/scratched all night at work, and feeling some deep-seated fatigue that means taking more rest days than planned. Oh well!

Week in Training and 14ers Season

Week 16 training. We are now in the month that precedes the month in which I will run my ill-conceived 100 K. Highlights of the week included spending time with family and driving to the magical land of 14ers. The crappiest part of the training week was a long run attempt in 90+ degree heat and semi-failing. Twice!

30 Before 30

About two years ago I thought to myself, “30 is the arbitrary marker by which society thinks I will start decaying in front of everyone’s eyes. Now is the time to make a bucket list.” It’s (you guessed it!) 30 items long with some big goals and some smaller ones.
